Stay Connected through volunteering
Connecting with your student and their friends through our volunteer program is the most effective way to remain involved with your student during each Band season. The Band Booster program offers parents the opportunity to engage with their child outside of school and home, while also meeting other parents who are equally passionate about supporting their children's success. The Band program relies heavily on the involvement of parent volunteers and the backing of local businesses, both financially and through hands-on support.
Financial Support and Fundraising
In recent years, each student’s family has been asked to contribute a minimum equitable share of $400. These contributions, along with proceeds from our annual Field Festival, merchandise sales, concert door fees, donations from local restaurants, and other fundraising activities, help us establish the budget for the upcoming year. We work closely with Mr. Elmore, your Band Director, to determine the funds required to operate the program annually. Annual operating budget for Band .
The Importance of Volunteering
Volunteering provides an opportunity for parents to get involved, connect with other families, and make a meaningful impact on the Band program. Whether your strengths are in organizing, cooking, transporting equipment, or simply cheering on the students, your participation is greatly valued. By working together, we create a supportive environment that allows our Band community to thrive throughout the year.
