In association with the Western Band Association, Oakmont High School's Royal Blue Regiment hosts its Field Show on the last Saturday of October. The competition is held on our campus at 1710 Cirby Way, Roseville, CA 95661.
The Royal Blue Regiment has proudly hosted the Oakmont Field Show for more than 20 years. It brings together 15+ high school marching bands and color guards for a family-friendly, fun-filled, competitive day of music & movement! Year after year, its success comes down to one thing: band families who step in, pitch in, and make the day unforgettable.
The schedule for this year (Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026) is in the works. The 2025 Oakmont Field Show started at 3 PM and ended at 9 PM. Event preparations started at 12 noon and clean up ended at 10 PM. Last year, Oakmont welcomed 17 bands, sold more than 1,200 tickets, and hosted over 3,000 performers, families, and guests on campus!
Without the Oakmont Field Show, we would not be able to keep our band and guard families' fair share/pledge request affordable. Our success comes directly from family volunteers, who participate in this completely volunteer-run program!
Every band and guard student volunteers for a two-hour shift and remains after the event to help with clean-up.
Each student's family is also expected to provide at least one adult volunteer to sign up for at least a two-hour shift, or to take on a lead role.
If you are able, consider signing up for more than one shift or role! All adult volunteers that have signed up receive complimentary entry to the Field Show.
